Connect Instagram to your business.
Overview
The Instagram connector links your Instagram Business account to Opsfly so your Agents and Autotasks can read and reply to direct messages and comments automatically. No Meta developer app, no webhook setup, no manually copying access tokens or secrets, you just sign in.
Once connected, incoming Instagram DMs and comments on your posts and reels reach Opsfly the moment they happen. There's no delay and nothing to refresh.
What you can do with it
- Reply to direct messages with text
- Send quick replies (up to 13 tappable text options)
- Send images or videos
- React to a DM with an emoji
- Show a typing indicator or mark a message as seen
- Read and reply to comments on your posts and reels
- Hide or delete comments
- Move a public comment into a private DM reply
Connect Instagram
- Go to Connectors in the side menu.
- Click Add, then choose Instagram.
- Click Connect with Meta and sign in through the popup window.
- Pick the Instagram Business account you want to connect and approve access.
- Click Save Connector: you're done.
Good to know
Instagram has some platform restrictions compared to Messenger. There are no buttons, product carousels, or file attachments, and replies can only be made to top-level comments (a reply to a reply gets automatically promoted to the top level by Instagram).
