Connect platforms
Step-by-step guides to connecting Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and TikTok.
Overview
Opsfly supports Messenger, WhatsApp Business, Instagram, and TikTok as inbound message connectors. Each requires a different authentication flow, but all result in the same outcome: messages from that platform are routed to your configured Agent in real time.
This guide covers the connection process for each platform and common issues you might encounter.
How it works
Platform connections use OAuth (for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) or API tokens (for WhatsApp Business API). Once authenticated, Opsfly registers a webhook with the platform — so every incoming message is pushed to your workspace instantly, rather than polled. This is what enables sub-second response times.
💡 Tip: You can connect multiple channels to the same Agent — your customers on Messenger and WhatsApp can both be served by the same AI agent with the same product knowledge.
Step by step
Prerequisites
- Admin access to your Facebook Business Manager account
- A verified WhatsApp Business API number (not the WhatsApp Business App)
- An Instagram Business or Creator account linked to your Facebook Page
Configuration
For Messenger and Instagram: Builder → Connectors → Add → Facebook/Instagram → click Connect → complete the OAuth flow → select the Page or account you want to connect. For WhatsApp: Builder → Connectors → Add → WhatsApp → enter your Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and API Token from the Meta developer dashboard → click Verify. Opsfly will send a test message to confirm.
Next steps
Once your first connector is live, Build your first agent and configure its system prompt.
